Day 1: HaNoi - HoaBinh - Nanh Village (Red Dzao)
Drive from HaNoi to HoaBinh, stopping en route at the massive HoaBinh hydropower station. Upon arrival in MaiChau, transfer to boat for a 50-minute ride across a reservoir. Take a 3-km trek uphill to a Dzao ethnic minority village.

Day 2: Nanh Village - XaLinh Village - HangKia Village of the H'Mong
From Nanh, hike back to the boat for the return trip across the reservoir. Transfer to car for drive to XaLinh. Upon arrival, trek 7 km to the H'Mong minority village of HangKia.

Day 3: HangKia - CunPheo Village of the Muong
From HangKia, take a 10 km hike to CunPheo village to visit Muong ethnic minorities.
