Day1: Arrive Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon)
Arrive and transfer to hotel for short talk about biking in Vietnam. Balance of the day free. Welcome dinner at Ancient Town restaurant and a chance to meet your guide.

Day 2: Saigon - Can Tho,
(50 km by bike)
Morning drive to Vinh Long. Picnic lunch, then ride to the village of Ba Ke (25 km). Cross the river with the bikes on a small ferry and ride another 25 km through the rice paddies. Arrive at Ba Cang intersection, then shuttle 15 km to Can Tho. Vietnamese buffet dinner.

Day 3: Can Tho, (bike loop 30 km)
Boat ride along the Mekong River to visit a floating market, then disembark and ride for 30 km along the riverbank past fruit orchards and local markets. Box lunch at a local cafe, then drive to Thot Not, where we hike for 25 minutes on country roads to Bang Lang stork sanctuary to see the big black and white birds flying home for the night. Drive back to Can Tho. Western set dinner at hotel.

Day 4: Can Tho Saigon Long Hai
Drive for about 4 hours back to Saigon for lunch at the Ngoc Gia Trang restaurant, then drive for another 3 hours to the Anoasis resort in Long Hai. Spend the afternoon on the white sandy beach. Vietnamese seafood dinner at the hotel.

Day 5: Long Hai, (bike loop 40 km)
Ride along the winding road through a rubber plantation to the fishing village of Phuoc Tinh. Boxed lunch, then head back to the hotel for swimming in the sea or the pool. Western set dinner on the beach.

Day 6: Long Hai - Phan Thiet, (bike 80 km)
Ride along the coastline on a paved road through villages that tourists seldom visit. Boxed lunch at local cafe. After a 3 hour ride we hit Highway 1 and shuttle 80 km to the hotel. Free afternoon on the beach or by the pool. Western set dinner at hotel.

Day 7: Phan Thiet - Phan Rang - Da Lat, (bike 60 km)
Drive to Phan Rang and then bike ride for 3 hours. Stop for lunch at My A restaurant. Shuttle to Da Lat or continue by bike along the 20 km over Ngoan Muc Pass. Dinner at Cafe de la Post Restaurant in Da Lat.

Day 8: Da Lat, (bike loop 25 km)
Pedal through the streets of Da Lat past the old French villas, then along the bank of the lake, past the golf course into the Valley of Love and stop at Lam Ty Ni Pagoda. Continue riding to the summer palace of Bao Dai, the last emperor of Vietnam. Ride back to hotel for an open-air lunch. Afternoon, optional guided walk to the central market. Dinner at Rebaules Restaurant.

Day 9: Da Lat Nha Trang, (bike 35 km, long option 60 km)
Ride up and down the hills out of the city past pine forests, tea and coffee plantations. Stop at a growers home to see tea and coffee being processed. Ride down through the scenic Dran Pass. Lunch at a local restaurant. Drive to Nha Trang with a stop at the Po Klong Garai Cham tower. Evening, Vietnamese buffet at hotel restaurant.

Day 10: Nha Trang, (bike loop 40 km)
Shuttle or ride to visit the old citadel of Dien Khanh before continuing to Khanh Vinh valley along a quiet road with stops to interact with farmers working in the rice fields, and visit local craft workshops. On the way back, stop at Suoi Tien spring. Drive or ride back to the hotel for lunch. Free afternoon. Farewell barbecue dinner on the beach.

Morning free. Afternoon, transfer to Nha Trang airport for flight to Saigon.
